Founding

PEP.GG Was a long standing idea between Oxxzyn and OtterlyWasted.

Discord Server & Planning

In mid-to-late 2018 we created a Discord server.

In 2019 - Drunken planning began with brainstorming ideas of how the group should be structured, what games we should play, etc.

Oxxzyn began playing around with server setup around that time.

Launch of PEP.GG & Minecraft Season 1

Oxxzyn & Otterlywasted settled on starting a Minecraft server as the first game for the group. The Minecraft server was running 1.15.2 - The Buzzy Bees update.

Season 1 ran from March 1st, 2020 through to June 26th, 2021. Which is when Season 2 began.

Since the launch of PEP.GG - Minecraft has been the predominant game played by the community overall. More information on Minecraft and PEP.GG can be found

Reddit Post

On Sunday March 1st, 2020 - The first Reddit ad was posted for the Minecraft server. Folks from Reddit joined the Discord and the Minecraft server almost immediately.
